Jacob has a special talent for building unique worlds in the Fallout universe that’s rare and exciting. We get the chance to influence and build our own little post apocalyptic bubble of New Orleans. Jacob’s quick with the crunchy 2d20 Fallout mechanics and rule of cool with storytelling and cinematics. I look forward to seeing where this story goes!
Bob’s expertise bringing a group together to tell a story is second to none. Whether you’re an experience DM or a new player, you will feel connected to these characters and invested in the events more than you thought possible in such a short time. Count yourself lucky if you find yourself an opportunity to play at Bob’s table.
DMFaenor’s Landfall game is one of the most creative and interesting settings I’ve come across on StP. It’s a homebrew world with solid grounding in 5E mechanics and lore, and the culture is evolving before our eyes. The landscape reminds me of the show Terra Nova — untamed and unknown. Like a fantasy invocation of Lewis & Clark. If you’re into home brew worlds, rules light, “yes, and” DM’s, you should check out DMFaenor’s games.
Chris runs a great player-centric game. This was my first session with Chris. I’ve been waiting a long time to play Ghosts of Saltmarsh and this is going to be great fun. I can tell already that everyone who plays with Chris sticks around. Looking forward to the next session.
Tonight’s Shadow Squad was as unforgettable as ever. We battled assaulting demon hoards as the abyss spilled out into the land of Tierra. Creatures tore at our flesh. We slaughters fiends by the hundreds. Their flesh deflated and pulverized beneath our blows. The air was painted with the chorus of their screams and death throws. Our metal tore their meat from their bones and flayed their twisted spirits. We are coming for all of you.
