Luke is a fantastic GM and his preparation shows how much he cares about the stories he tells — but what makes him stand out is how seamlessly he blends that prep with improvisation. I can never tell if we’ve just stumbled into a carefully laid trap or if he’s spinning gold off the top of his head. He’s also incredibly easy to work with, adapting to the players’ ideas without missing a beat. Outside of the sessions, Luke keeps communication flowing, is always open to input, and makes sure everyone’s engaged and excited for what’s coming next. If you’re even remotely considering joining one of his Alien RPG sessions — or anything else he runs — stop thinking and jump in. My only complaint? I have to wait between sessions to get more. 11/10, would absolutely recommend. No really. Get in on this sh** yesterday.
Ned is an absolutely phenomenal GM/DM who elevates every session into an unforgettable experience. His games are a masterclass in inclusivity, creativity, and immersive storytelling, making each moment feel vibrant and authentic. The worlds he crafts are richly detailed and brimming with life, while his stories are deeply compelling, effortlessly pulling you in. What truly sets Ned apart is his unparalleled flexibility. He empowers players to shape their own journeys, allowing you the freedom to explore, experiment, and make meaningful decisions that ripple through the narrative. The group I play with only amplifies the magic, as they are equally fantastic and bring their own unique energy to the table. Once you’ve experienced Ned’s sessions, your expectations of what a GM/DM can and should be will forever be raised. He’s the kind of GM/DM who redefines the role, setting a standard so high it’s hard not to feel utterly spoiled.
