Where should I begin? I was lucky enough to join a group with Joel gming and it was so awesome to be a part of. Joel was always accommodating to our ideas and choices-no matter how out there they might be! He also, through the use of roll20, had wonderful visuals, music, sound effects, and maps for us to help further bring us into the world we were playing in. I can easily say that when you join one of Joel's games you will feel the passion he has for gming and the work he puts in to make every session as sick as possible.

I was lucky enough to play in one of Thor's games for a few sessions set in the Planescape Campaign Setting. It was such a pleasure to meet everyone and have fun in a really safe space with a welcoming group. I was truthfully bummed out that I wouldn't be able to continue playing but those looking for a DM that puts in the time, is constantly fixing issues with and updating their VTT, brings such good atmosphere with visuals and music and acting, please sign up with Thor. You won't regret it.

I was only able to play for a session with Dragonborn but it was really fun! We came in with really unusual ideas and characters and he full-heartedly supported us. He was solid with the voice and vibe of the first (fairly famous) character of Morte from Planescape which I really appreciated as a fan of Torment. It was a smooth, chill session 0 into a wild fast-paced intro to the adventure and I'm sure future groups and PCs will have as much, if not more, fun than I had.

I was recently fortunate enough to be a part of Casey's game and I had a really great time. He ran an Eberron adventure that he planned, made, and prepared for and it was wonderful. Throughout the adventure he showed competence as a DM not only on the adventure itself but also the (frankly staggering) lore of the setting, up to the streets and neighborhoods of Sharn. Also, when we had perhaps an unusual request or plan, he didn't try to put it down which shows true skill in a DM as well. I can only imagine the work that will go into future campaigns, not only set in Eberron but whatever other settings he and future groups may use.
