I've been playing in several of Joe's games for well over a year now. He's a fun and creative DM who wants to make sure all of his players are having a good time. He's there to work with the players, not against them (I wish all DM's were like that). He asks for, and values, any feedback he receives. He goes out of his way to make sure the NPCs have unique personalities, just so the players will have even more chances for role-playing and world building. As long as he's willing to put up with my goofy character's, I'll keep playing in his games, meow!
