If you are looking for a Dungeon Master to run Curse of Strahd, I cannot recommend Cynister highly enough. She is a truly gifted storyteller who brought the gothic horror and visual dread of Barovia to life, making every session incredibly immersive. Beyond their narrative skills, their command of the rules is sharp and seamless. They keep the mechanics out of the way of the story while ensuring encounters are fair, balanced, and perfectly executed—especially when leveraging the VTT to keep combat smooth and atmospheric

From the very first session, it was clear that Shane is a natural storyteller. The campaign world is a living, breathing entity, filled with consequences, history and lore. Every NPC feels unique and memorable, contributing meaningfully to the plot. What truly sets him apart is their ability to weave player backstories directly into the central narrative, ensuring that every character feels like the protagonist of their own epic. The pacing is superb, blending intense combat encounters with moments of genuine emotional role-play and high-stakes investigation.

Belle is, without a doubt, one of my favorite Dungeon Masters. She excels at creating an engaging narrative where every player's character and choices feel meaningful. The NPCs she brings to life are more than just background characters—they become integral parts of the story, and it's easy to get invested in their fates. Her combat encounters are a masterclass in balance, feeling both fast-paced and challenging. Every fight kept us on the edge of our seats, with the outcome feeling like it could go either way. What truly makes her stand out is her ability to build a great table culture. Not only did we stay focused on the campaign, but we also had the freedom to joke around and have fun. Belle is a phenomenal improviser, and her willingness to pivot and incorporate our spontaneous ideas into the game made for some of the most memorable moments of the campaign. I would enthusiastically recommend Belle as a DM to anyone, but especially to new players. Her tremendous patience and genuine love for introducing new people to D&D are truly exceptional.

Em is an incredible Dungeon Master who has created a truly awesome, dangerous, and engaging world. Her attention to detail is evident in the rich settings and memorable NPCs, who feel like real people with their own stories to tell. The world is full of interesting places to explore, and I particularly appreciate her thoughtful integration of challenging and creative puzzles—something you rarely see. Combined with a fantastic group of players, every session has been an absolute blast. I can't recommend her enough!

Played in a One Shot today learning Daggerheart. I had a great time, and learned a lot about the game. She ran great RP and a really good battle. I would recommend her to anyone.
