Greetings traveler, I'm Shane and perhaps I'll soon be whisking your away on a new adventure. I started roleplaying when I was about 10 years old; fast forward a few decades and I'm still as obsessed as ever. I began with original Dungeons & Dragons, progressing through every edition and a myriad of other RPG systems. Burnt out on corporate life, we packed up, left the city and moved to a tiny little town in New Zealand. While spending some time soul searching I started running RPGs for multiple groups and after receiving great feedback I thought I'd take the path less travelled and see if I could make a modest living running games. I'm easy going and open minded. I see roleplaying as the ultimate form of escapism and my players get to cast off their real world burdens each week for a few hours of adventure, excitement and laughter. How Dice Knights runs games
I take full advantage of the online medium, filling my games with ambient music, sound and art, sprawling battle maps and evocative backdrops for theatre of mind play. I work with players to tell their characters story, weaving it into whatever adventure we're undertaking.
