About me
Started playing tabletop RPGs in 1981 or so (a weird one shot of AD&D module S1 so memory is a bit fuzzy). So I've been around for a bit of a moment. I stopped playing around 2006 or so when I started graduate school, and after ended up in MMOs. Looking to get back into things. Seeking a Daggerheart or Legend in the Mist game in a mostly 'lighter tone'. I tend to play good characters but also enjoy redemption arcs. I'm into plot, mystery, a bit of comic relief, mild roleplay (I'm no actor, but I try). Neutral on combat (fine with any level of action). I tend to do more 'develop in play' - starting with a light backstory and letting the hooks everyone throws out drive me to fill things in as we go. I like characters that can work to solve puzzles and investigate mysteries. Enjoy (prefer) homebrew adventures as I get to enjoy the full imagination of the group. Available PST evenings.

I was a player in one of Eratheon's Daggerheart one shots for the Sablewood adventure. I had an absolutely enjoyable time in the game as he introduced us to the new game system. Eratheon was very engaged with giving each of us good spotlight time, explaining rules as he used them, and explaining narrative flow as we moved through it. He conveyed the story in a way that had us feeling a lot of "player agency", as well as kept the pace flowing well giving us enough time and activity to wrap up the core initial plot line. This despite none of us using the pregens. We all made our own characters ahead of time and he walked us through how to use our characters and what to do as we used our various abilities on a cast of new PCs made by new players. (They only let me pick three 'tags' or I would also pick Sets the Mood and Rule of Cool, and maybe some of the others as well. Just know that I was impressed.
The tags are limited to 3. I would add "Knows the Rules" as well if I could choose 4, and I suspect I will be wanting to add for visuals, story, and cool by the end if things keep going well. We're having a lot of fun in one of the early Pathfinder 2E modules - modules that were often scaled to be too difficult. That noted, the GM is keeping things feeling difficult, but not overwhelming, adjusting to be just right. The GM has a friendly demeanor and the game has good pacing. She is open to a wide range of options among character choices and seems to enjoy helping people get comfortable with the system. If you're new to Pathfinder or looking to try it out for a first time, this GM is a good choice. ----- And now our game is over as it was just a short module. The module is a bit overtuned for the levels. However the GM was good and we had fun. With luck I will find time to attend another of Vhaidara's games or preferably longer campaigns. Vhaidara gets my recommendation.
