English/Spanish Speaker. Hi, I’m David Barbosa, I've been playing RPGs since I was a kid, and TTRPGs for the past 17 years. 7 of those years as a Dungeon Master. I enjoy creating engaging stories, challenging encounters, and fun roleplaying opportunities for players of all experience levels. My DM style is story-driven, with some tactical seasoning (I usually use a grid for combats, but may as well adapt to thearer of the mind if needed), and I like to run games that focus on exploration and character growth. Whether you’re new to the game or a veteran, I aim to make every session enjoyable and immersive.

GM Style

I focus on making character backstories an integral part of the main story. I want players to feel like their characters matter in the world—not just as adventurers, but as people with histories, connections, and personal stakes. I take the time to weave their pasts into the larger narrative, making sure their choices and backgrounds influence the plot in meaningful ways. I also love to improvise. No matter how much I prepare, I know that players will always surprise me, and I embrace that. If an offhanded comment sparks a new storyline, or if players become attached to an NPC I hadn’t planned on, I roll with it and let the world evolve naturally. The story isn’t just mine, it’s something we build together at the table. Expect a campaign where: Your character’s past matters—old rivals, unresolved conflicts, and hidden secrets will resurface. The main plot shifts and grows based on player actions and character development. The world reacts dynamically, making every session feel fresh and unpredictable. This style works especially well for players who enjoy deep roleplay, meaningful character growth, and a story that feels uniquely theirs.
