Dan the Cake Boss

Addie was great! They created a table in which it was really encouraged (and fulfilling) to look inward toward the character vs just reacting to the world around you. Pretty impressive for a 3-hour one shot. It wasn't all serious though, we managed to have some fun and jokes along the way. Great DM, Great Game.

More players in the session than I personally would have preferred. Because of the party size (8), combat was rounds were long, and it was hard to get much of a word in edgewise during roleplay. The DM did a pretty good job of herding the cats, but he could only do so much with that many players. I had fun though. Would play with this DM again if the party was smaller (and it would likely be a 5 star experience).

Our campaign started as a random one shot that Justin had posted, and we had so much fun that it's expanded into many sessions. Justin is a fun narrator for your adventure, and he does a great job herding the cats at the table (without necessarily making them feel herded). He's down playing out our antics (of which there are many). He also supplies notes before each session to remind you what happened. A truly great DM and a very nice guy.

I've played 2 sessions with Will and have a third scheduled. He facilitates a lot of fun roleplay. He also brought some great homebrew mechanics to the table that really made our session "pop".

A fun, casual GM and a fun combat-heavy one shot.
