Hey there! I’m Jalen (aka VagusTheWanderer) — a longtime TTRPG enthusiast and storyteller who loves bringing characters to life at the table. I’ve been playing across a wide range of systems, but my heart belongs to roleplay-driven games where character choices matter as much as dice rolls. I enjoy playing bold, imaginative characters—sometimes the wandering bard who paints his way out of trouble, other times the blood mage who wrestles with familiar demons. I bring the same energy whether I’m cracking jokes, diving deep into narrative arcs, or strategizing in combat. I’ve been playing with Matt for over 4 years now — it's been so long we finally decided to meet at GenCon and, miraculously, he hasn’t gotten a restraining order on me yet. If you want a Pro GM who brings epic storytelling, gut-busting laughs, and just the right amount of “Oh no, we’re all going to die horribly,” look no further. Matt is the rare Game Master who genuinely wants to tell the story with you, not just at you. He’s creative, thoughtful, hilariously twisted (in the best way), and so knowledgeable it’s suspicious. I’m 90% sure he’s secretly an ancient lich — but a really friendly one. His wife is equally amazing — together they produce top-tier Virtual Tabletop games that feel like a night at the coolest nerdy improv theater you’ve ever been to… except you’re also slaying monsters and rewriting the fate of kingdoms from the comfort of your sweatpants. He takes feedback with humility, spins your wildest ideas into gold, and makes every session feel like you’re building something bigger than just another game night. I’m looking forward to creating stories together for as long as he’ll have me. If he ever tries to retire, I’m fully prepared to hunt him down and drag him back to the table. Play with Matt.
