I became a GM because

As a child, my family saw it: I was telling stories, creating characters, going on grand adventures through the dangers of the backyard, facing the evil oak tree with a stick for a sword and nothing but imagination. They encouraged it, it grew. I’ve always been a GM.

How TheChaosShaman runs games

Session 0 is always free. It is one of the most important parts of the whole campaign for me. This is where I get to know you, your character, and the kind of story you want to be a part of. I build campaigns around players, so your backstory, goals, and vibe at the table all matter. I want you to feel like you belong in the world from the start, not like you’re just being dropped into someone else’s story. And I don’t think players should have to pay for that. I also do Loyalty Rewards- After every 10 sessions you play, the next one is free. This is a way of giving back to you for your dedication. My games are fully immersive, story-driven experiences where player choices shape the world. I emphasize roleplay, using a wide range of character voices to bring NPCs and villains to life. I weave backstories into campaigns often. We use Discord as our main communication hub and play the games on Roll20.
