About Stephen Leong
I’ve been running tabletop RPGs for years with a focus on collaborative storytelling, memorable characters, and worlds that react to player choices. I enjoy running a wide range of games and tones, from lighthearted adventures to tense mysteries, political intrigue, dangerous journeys, and character-driven stories. I run games for both new and experienced players and aim to create tables that are welcoming, communicative, and easy to settle into. I enjoy helping newer players learn the hobby while still giving experienced players plenty of room for creativity, strategy, and strong roleplay opportunities. Outside of TTRPGs, I work in creative production and project management, which strongly influences how I run games: organized sessions, clear communication, good pacing, and respect for everyone’s time at the table. For me, tabletop RPGs are at their best when the table creates memorable stories together

I became a GM because
I wanted to build stories with people, not just tell stories to them. Collaborative storytelling is one of the few hobbies where everyone leaves the table with memories that feel real.
My favorite shows/movies are
Indiana Jones, Willow, and The Aristocats — which probably explains a lot about the tone of my games. Equal parts adventure, heart, chaos, and talking animals with emotional damage.

How Stephen Leong runs games
My games balance roleplay, exploration, problem-solving, and tactical combat, with a strong emphasis on player agency and collaborative storytelling. I love running worlds that feel reactive — where player decisions genuinely shape the direction of the story and the people within it. Players can expect: character-driven storytelling, meaningful choices and consequences, memorable NPCs and faction intrigue, tactical combat with narrative stakes, a healthy mix of serious moments & table chaos and flexible problem-solving and creative play I enjoy rewarding players who engage with the world, think creatively, and invest in their characters. While I enjoy immersive storytelling and emotional moments, I also believe tabletop games should be fun, dynamic, and enjoyable for everyone at the table. My goal is to create sessions that feel engaging, welcoming, and memorable — whether you’re here for deep roleplay, tactical encounters, exploration, or just a good time with fellow players.

Stephen Leong's ideal table
My ideal table is collaborative, story-focused, and emotionally invested in the game world. I enjoy players who engage with roleplay, respect the group, and aren’t afraid to make bold choices. Expect cinematic storytelling, meaningful consequences, tactical moments with narrative weight, and a healthy balance of tension, humor, and creativity. New players are always welcome.
