About Lee Rossi
Hey! I'm Lee - a long term gamer, costumer / maker and father of two little chaos goblins. I've been playing and running rpg's and tabletop wargames for over 30 years off and on and came back to DM'ing near fulltime over the last few years to help keep friends and family sane! I'm open to running most games, especially 5E and Edge of the Empire, and have a definite preference towards homebrew and rule of cool style play (and am constantly surprised by the sometimes criminal applications of spells and abilities players can produce)...

I became a GM because
I love telling stories and bringing worlds to life
My favorite system of all Time is
Fantasy Flight's Edge of the Empire - great system for players and DM's alike!
People are always surprised when I tell them
I almost split my head open doing medieval reenactment
How Lee Rossi runs games
I aim for a good mixture of social, combat and skill based encounters to try and appeal to all players equally, from fiendish traps to complex battles against overwhelming odds, valiant duels of honour or simply letting the bards do their 'thing'... In my time playing I've DM'd for kids and adults, from complete beginners to seasoned veterans, and I hope that I can always bring something unique for every player at the table. I'm never afraid to throw away my notes and let the story be driven by the players! Content (and language) is generally mature for my adult groups, but I will always discuss limits with individuals and as groups before games begin. Session 0's are always free, and are there for both the players and myself to get to know each other and set clear expectations for the story ahead.

I once ran a session...
live for over forty players with kids as assistant DM's
Rules are...
more what you'd call guidelines...
When it comes to voices
I'm limited, but always up for anything that makes a character memorable or funny
Lee Rossi's ideal table
Relaxed, open to roll playing and not afraid to dive into the story / lore with the occasional big crunchy combat.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
expands on the lore / story with their own ideas and adds a new direction / arc to the narrative
I think min/maxing...
is fine - but I won't allow a single broken character to hog the spotlight
My table is not the place for...
real world politics in any form. It's a place to forget about all the negatives outside and for everyone to feel welcome and included.
