About Eric
I’ve been playing and mastering tabletop roleplaying games since the days of the D&D Basic editions, so I’ve spent decades immersed in this hobby. For me, the rules have always been more of a guide than a strict lawbook—I believe the story we create together at the table matters most. I prioritize narrative and collaboration over rigid mechanics, encouraging everyone to bring their ideas and creativity into the game. My goal as a game master is to keep the table fun and engaging, adapting the rules when needed to support the story and ensure everyone’s having a good time. I love when players feel inspired to shape the adventure with me, and I’m all about fostering an environment where imagination flows freely. After all these years, what keeps me coming back is the shared joy of building memorable worlds and moments with friends.

I became a GM because
I love empowering players, drawing out the amazing things they can imagine and finding ways to weave those into stories to share at the table. I also especially enjoy helping new players find their story voice.
My favorite system of all Time is
One of my favorite systems was Palladium Fantasy. The mechanics were clunky, to be sure, the world building was immense and provided so much opportunity for generating great stories. More recently, I fell in love with The Legend of Five Rings (5e) for similar story reasons and the narrative dice.
How Eric runs games
In my games, you can expect a strong focus on storytelling and player collaboration. If you love roleplay, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to bring your character to life and help shape the world around you. I encourage creativity and improvisation, so your ideas and choices really influence the narrative. Combat happens when it serves the story, creating exciting and meaningful moments that keep everyone engaged. Above all, my games are about having fun together, creating memorable adventures, and making sure everyone feels involved and inspired. If you want a welcoming table where imagination and camaraderie come first, my games are a great fit.
