About Remagen
Hey all, I'm Remagen, or simply Rem. I consider myself a pretty chill person overall, I like to interact with my fellow players when I play and my direct players when I GM often, sharing stories, bonding and having a relaxing atmosphere all around as I believe that trying to become friends with one another helps things progress much more seamlessly overall, having that kind of tighter knit group that can feel comfortable amongst each other and trust one another as the game goes on. We all understand that things can get heated, we don't always have the best of days, and life happens in the end so it's good to try and be there for one another above all, and that's what I believe in above all else. I've been playing since I was 15 years old, and GMing off and on since I was around I want to say 23. I am now approaching 32 and moving ever onward from there once I do. I'd consider myself fairly experienced, definitely not perfect, but I'm always learning and trying my best every day in the end! Just reach out with concerns and I'm always willing to improve and try to meet what you need for the game to the best of my abilities.

I became a GM because
I love sharing stories, creating plotlines, and making players backstories come to life in worlds I create. Being able to craft forth various NPCs that support or contend with the players actions and thus bring the world to life has become a bit of a passion to me, and that's why I began GMing.
My favorite books are
Terry Goodkinds the Sword of Truth The Rangers Apprentice
How Remagen runs games
I love engaging roleplay scenes, especially if they develop the story. I try my best to craft engaging combat scenarios, setting up narrative flow to any combat scene I can with active dialogue, scene crafting, audio ques and so forth that may be appropriate to the scene. I am good at carefully considering combat flow, active turn considerations, and making sure my players stories flow as smoothly as possible so that everyone has as much fun as physically possible with the game. I constantly seek improvement and believe that is one of my greatest strengths.

My games focus on...
Cooperative game building with my players actions taking the forefront as much as physically possible. I believe that the more my players engage with the world as a whole the more things flow forth as a group. Even in a pre-written adventure I find this works to the betterment of the game itself.
Remagen's ideal table
The vibe here is chill, warm, and collaborative. We're here to tell a great story together, laugh a lot along the way, and build the kind of group that genuinely enjoys each other's company — the tables I love most are the ones that start as strangers and end as friends. We share stories, we bond between sessions, and we keep the atmosphere relaxed even when the dice get dramatic. You'll fit right in here if you: Love roleplay and want your character to grow, change, and matter to the story Play as a team — you get excited about other people's character moments, not just your own Enjoy collaborating: on backstories, on kingdom decisions, on the story itself Communicate openly — about scheduling, about feedback, about anything on your mind Understand that life happens. Rough days and real-world obligations come first, and we're there for each other through them. You don't need to be a systems expert or a voice actor — enthusiasm and a willingness to engage matter far more than experience. New players and veterans are equally welcome, and I'm always happy to help with rules.

I love it when a player
Takes initiative, comes up with ideas for how to move things forward, communicates with the table and the GM about wishes and desires for the story and in general participates. The more the merrier, it benefits the games greatly when everyone is involved as much as possible!
