About me

I first picked up RPGs in the early 1980s, with Advanced Dungeons & Dragons and Gamma World. I was immediately hooked. I have played and ran games in multiple genres in a variety of play-styles. I have a particular fondness for running games. I believe in the dice and players making choices, and creating the story from these results, with a tilt towards player and character agency over mechanical agency. As a GM I am adept at weaving personal character story-lines through out adventures, personalizing play to the group.

GM Style

Are you the hero, the foil, or something else entirely? Regardless, the game is about your character. Your character will be born into a world of adventure, intrigue, challenge, and peril. Overcome trials and tribulations, solve puzzles and mysteries, battle it out and fight for the win, or take the field of combat to the social arena to match wit and guile. With the experience of playing and running roleplaying games for over 30 years, I have developed multiple styles and techniques of game mastery for a variety of players. My priorities are engagement, entertainment, and enjoyment, all centered on you and your party of cohorts. I want to immerse into vivid worlds full of senses and emotional connections, tell epic tales or failure and success, and create memories and moments that will last for decades with you and your character.
