About me
Greetings fellow Adventurers! My name is Milo and I have been a GM for quite a while now. I can't even count the amount of time I spent on Dungeons and Dragons, ShadowRun, Cyberpunk Red! I wanted to start hosting games because I wanted to provide people the opportunity to play the game at an affordable price. I do not think games should cost an arm and a leg to participate. My goal is to set up games where it could match the price of a premium cup of coffee per week. What makes me different from most GMs you would find on Startplaying is the low price while maintaining the same level of quality (If not higher) than what you would find in most games. I do a variety of character voices. These range from the old wizard who is teaching the wonders of evocation magic, to the hulking barbarian warlord, and to the cute little plasmoid with a backpack on a spelljammer ship. Creating and immersing my players in a world is what I hope to accomplish. As much as I like to brag about how I excel at Excel (Badum tss), I am an adept at FoundryVTT. I love making modules for GMs to use in their games and I can honestly say that I can teach even the most Boomer individual how to navigate it. For most of my games, you will find that I like to do a 30% combat and 70% roleplaying ratio (depending on the campaign setting). If you are looking for a GM who loves crazy ideas, player focused stories and immersion then welcome! "TTRPGs for me, is not a story I put you through but one that we all come together to create. This is OUR story." - Milo (Yes, I quoted myself... I know it's cringe.)
GM Style
My style is a player forward mentality. This means that the player's choices, thoughts and decision are meaningful. When they enter the world, everything matters, even if you don't think they do. There is no need for recaps because I record every interaction (in notes). In doing so, there is also a reason as to why certain events, interactions, and behaviors occur (if a player ever needs a reason). I treat sources and rule books as a guide and not as sacred texts that one would abide by. The story is one that we make together.
