If you like that style of play I am probably a good fit for you. I prefer story over mechanics, and hope to see some contributions from you to make the story is more fun through role playing. There’s a heavy focus on building your characters background, personality and goals from the get go. I give time for players to socalise with each other in each game to do this. There will be monsters and fighting but also merriment and heart ache. (generally every other game we have a big fight session, while the other is exploration and socialising) I try to conform my style to whatever is best-suited to each party and their campaign. There are so many ways to enjoy this game that I find it works best to ask players a lot of questions, seek a lot of feedback, and always be prepared to adjust. All my tables are very welcoming. We like to pre-game chat about how are week went and what cool geeky dnd/ttrpg stuff we are interested in. In game every one is respectful about allowing each other their turn and are excited for each characters story to be told. Its a low tech table and I try use online applications that most people can use on tablets and phones (as well as being easy to use). We don't welcome main player syndrome where one player is more important than the rest of the group. I like to introduce people through the game to make new friends (I've had players even to go to meet up irl and even in different countries)
