About Charles
The GM with an infectious laugh, more dad jokes than you can handle, and a love for storytelling. I have been playing TTRPGs for about 18 years now and GMing for 16 of them. Since my days as a theatre kid in high school to now as an elementary school counselor, D&D and Pathfinder have always been a part of my life. I tend to write homebrew campaigns and homebrew worlds in which the players can truly have an impact on the overarching world in little to large scopes. I believe in player agency while also ensuring the comfort and enjoyment of all at my table. My goal is to create stories together that bring a spark of excitement and joy to your heart and eyes! I will always ensure that my Discord community and my sessions are a place of love, acceptance, and enjoyment. I heavily prioritize the safety of my players. This is a LGBTQ+ and allies safe space! How Charles runs games
If you're looking for heavy, high-stakes roleplay that has vibes from the Tell Tale series (The GM Will Remember That), heart pounding combat with more ways to defeat enemies than "whack it 'til dead", puzzles that will make you despise cutting that one highschool geometry class, and nonstop laughter then I'm your GM! I try to find a balance that all players may be able to enjoy themselves, throwing in wild voices for notable NPCs, including massive lore for the lore hunters, and prime targets for those who just want a dash of chaos. I'm extremely beginner friendly as well as LGBTQIA2S+ friendly. If you're a veteran or a newbie I'd love to give you tales to tell around the table!

Rules are...
guidelines. I am a firm believer of "Rule of Cool" and utilize several homebrew rules. I'd rather tell an engaging story that brings joy and excitement to my players than follow the rules to the letter.
When it comes to voices
I go all out. I practice NPC voices for hours before introducing them and write notes to do my best to ensure the same voice sticks with the correct NPC.

When looking for players I hope to find individuals looking to add to the story and understand that there are others at the table also seeking fun and enjoyment. So please be courteous to one another. I expect players to be uplifting to one another and willing to collaborate with one another as well as with me. I want my table to be a fun and safe space for all and I do not condone any forms of bigotry, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, etc. I bring a cozy vibe to my sessions full of music, laughter, and memorable moments as well as moments filled with emotion, stress, and fear. I take my players on unforgettable journeys that are meant to be remembered and shared for years to come.
