About Jacob Ferguson
I've had the itch to play DnD and other table top games for decades, but never really found the right group to kick everything off with until a few years ago. My now wife got me back into card games like magic, and convinced one of our friends to DM a one shot campaign with us. Before that, I was familiar with DnD through Critical Role and dimension 20, but never had the opportunity to actually play, much less GM. After that game turned into a full campaign, then subsequently died off, I figured I could fill that void by DMing myself. Arrogantly so. haha. But, it worked out, for my birthday about 2 years ago, I got my best friends together for a one shot, which has turned into a full 2 year long campaign since. I also have a second group with a new campaign that is 100% homebrewed, and have ran multiple one shots for friends since. Writing, lore crafting, guiding players and ultimately just telling a compelling story are what keeps me going.

How Jacob Ferguson runs games
A lot of fun, goofy roleplay. I like to tell compelling stories that adapt and change based on decisions the players make, not just because it's what the module says. I like fun, compelling combat, but nothing extremely difficult for the sake of it. Rule of cool is supreme at my tables. Overall, I want my players to feel powerful, that their decisions matter, and ultimately that whatever happens at the table, they have a good time doing it.
