About Videlity
I'm a writer by trade and begin GMing due to my love of storytelling. I believe I'm best in a multi-session games where I can make good on the decisions and relationships the players make, and hopefully their backstory. More than that, though: I'm a performer. I enjoy the extra in life. Which should be well reflected in the FoundryVTT modules I uses.

My favorite books are
Something that makes you work for meaning, that's ambitious, even if at times tiring and intimidating. MASSIVE and House of Leaves, for example.
My favorite system of all Time is
Ten Candles
When I'm not running games I'm...
Writing my own stories and editing other people's.
How Videlity runs games
Despite my love for tactical combat, I enjoy the moment of rest the most. The time where I can show the players that their decisions matter, where they can expand their characters through roleplay. Also, I sometimes enjoy puzzle.

I deal with rules issues by...
Making my ruling during session, and re-opening discussion at the end of it.
I prep by
Spending two hours a week for each campaign skimming the module and GMs notes alongside my players' backstories and goals, and the things that catches their interest.
My games focus on...
Building upon each other's prompt. I always try to "Yes, and" and encourage my players to do the same.
Videlity's ideal table
My table is big and loud and extra, I like confronting my players with problems that feels bigger than them at first glance. I enjoy running Sandbox games where my players are invested in the story and buying into the narrative, because it gave me the best of both worlds. I think the kind of players that will fit into my tables are the kind that like to respond to my prompts with "Yes, and" but still respects the boundaries we establish. The kind of players that wants their creativity respected, and enjoys a rule-bending here and there. The kind of players that pay attentions to the little details and take nots, to see it pays off five to ten sessions later.

I am for a vibe that's...
Light-hearted and understanding, a slow table that are still excited about every Nat20 and capable of laughing on each Nat1 rolled.
I think metagaming...
I find it fine. I'm okay with a player metagaming insofar bringing acid for trolls fight and even knowing the location of the final boss, as long as they don't spoiler the rest of the party or try to force them to go that way or do certain things because of their meta knowledge.
My table is not the place for...
Bigotry of all kinds for any reason. Neither is it a place for rules-lawyering.
