I got started GMing...
for my little cousins, at family reunions. That grew into me being a Municipal Dungeon Master for the City of Portland! Now I am trying to make tools and publish content.

Buckaroo Banzai: Across the 5th Dimension, and Redline, which are about guys with black hair driving really fast, fighting facist aliens and getting the girl in the end.
How Emmett runs games
I can move across the spectrum of grit to narrative, and creative/homebrew to by-the-book. I have experience being a story-teller for kids and adults alike, and have had much success with both. With a consent checklist at the top, I aim to keep the space safe for everyone. If you don't respect others you will be asked to leave. Theater training has made me great with voices, and I love tactical grit. Most of the time I will rule in the favor of something that is narrative, that means something to the character.

that was an apollo-punk sci-fantasy where players were hired to protect a lich that was ferrying souls across the astral sea. Angelic Space Cops were in pursuit. The game was a series of pit stops, attempting to find special fuel, shielding to mask their magic signature, or ways to hurt angels.
When it comes to voices
I have studied what makes an accent. I have been blessed to grow up in the pacific northwest, which has one of the most neutral accent palettes of English speakers. There is a mouth shape, where you let your speech resonate, and then specific rules also. My stock characters make cameos often.

My ideal table has specific ideas that they are willing to integrate into a larger narrative tapestry. None of us, is as good as all of us. Please be respectful. Everyone by default knows nothing. People shouldn't feel bad for knowing the thing that you know.

I think it's a red flag when players...
Want to have amnesia because they don't wanna bother having a character. Play chaotic neutral so they can just RP as themselves. Is your character distracting themselves from a deep pain, or a deep sense of inadequacy? Who hurt them? What is the sarcasm masking?
