About me
Hello! I’m Ron, a Game Master focused on providing engaging role-playing, exploration, and challenging combat encounters. I customize games to suit player preferences while ensuring they have agency within the D&D pillars. My RPG journey began with AD&D, and I've been running games nearly as long as I've been playing, covering most D&D editions and currently running D&D 5E and Pathfinder 2, both online and in person. While I'm no rules encyclopedia, I prioritize "rulings over rules" to keep the game flowing, correcting any missed rules as we go. One of my favorite aspects of RPGs is collaboratively building narratives with players, integrating character backstories into our campaigns, whether homebrew or published. I believe that if you're paying for a DM, you deserve professionalism. I’ll be punctual, prepared, and respectful, treating you as a valued customer. I communicate well and am easily reachable between sessions. For online play, I use tools like Foundry VTT, Roll20, Discord, DNDBeyond, and Demiplane/Pathfinder Nexus. GM Style
I love a good balance between role-play and combat. Helping the players become invested in the story that arises out of the campaign is a passion of mine and, if players are interested, I send out a questionnaire before the first session that helps me develop storylines that tie into their backgrounds. Additionally, I am always available to help new players learn the game and become more comfortable at the table.

DM Ron is a seasoned veteran when it comes to role playing and setting the mood for gameplay. He's a talented storyteller that brings his games to life with mood and atmosphere. He's also an established teacher that's great for bringing in and mentoring beginner players, so they're able to effectively use the VTT to jump right into the adventure and make the most of the game from their very first session. To sum up my experience with DM Ron, he knows the game's rules, he knows the VTT tools, and he doesn't let either get in the way of getting to know his players, so they have an exciting night of gameplay that they'll be raving about and sharing with others again and again and again.

Ron is a kind and talented GM who makes sure everyone has an engaging and enjoyable time playing. He made it easy for us to jump into a game that half of our party had never played and the other half hadn't played in 40 years. Great job!

You will feel welcomed as a player! Ron also is so quick on his feet. I came up with a PC to NPC interaction on the fly and he rolled with it like a master. Allows players to breath and RP with eachother and NPCs which is a plus for me.

An absolutely phenomenal Dungeon Master! From the moment the session begins, the real world fades away, and we're fully immersed in the rich, living fantasy Ron creates.
