About Andrew

By day, he is a filmmaker and video producer; by night, he’s a GM, podcaster, and storyteller. Andrew once had the big dream to be a hotshot Hollywood film director, buying the rights to Star Wars, and making the perfect Star Wars movie. Now, he crafts those stories into dice-based adventures to live out those films in the theater of the mind. Andrew is happily married with two wonderful kids and is living a better dream in Texas.

I became a GM because

I failed to become a great Hollywood hotshot director. No seriously, I was a filmmaker/director first, then found TTRPGs as an outlet for telling creative, character focused stories.

My favorite system of all Time is

Genesys, hands down. Narrative character stories are my all time favorite RGPs. That said, the printing for Vaesen is my all time favorite physical books I own. I'll play any system though with the right group of friends.

How Andrew runs games

I love character-driven storytelling, and as such, what your character sees, does, and feels shapes the world and narrative. I love sessions that include fast-paced action sequences and end with quiet moments afterward. So we'll go on epic galaxy-spanning adventures; just don't forget to pack a change of socks!
