About Diana Crossy

Hello everyone! I'm Diana, player and GM with over ten years of experience 🐲. I love all kinds of games and stories, but I live for the interception of the two that are role-playing games. I've introduced dozens of people to the hobby, and I always make a point to keep my games inclusive and welcoming. I take care of my players, even if that means talking to and (if everything else fails) kicking out problematic players. When I'm not DMing, I'm a professional writer and freelance journalist. I'd say I know my way around words! Every game I host is: 🏳️‍🌈 A safe, welcoming environment for anyone! ♟️ An easy way to get into the hobby! ⚙️ A well-oiled, stress-free machine for cooperative storytelling! 📝 A diligently organized project, bringing every adventure to a satisfying end! I usually run narrative-focused systems like Brindlewood Bay, Blades in the Dark, and anything Powered by the Apocalypse. That said, I have plenty of experience with Dungeons & Dragons 5e and Pathfinder 1e, running both premade modules and original campaigns. Thank you for reading all this! Have a nice day!

How Diana Crossy runs games

I love helping players explore the characters they have created and bring them on adventures in a collaborative environment. I keep things moving: I allow quiet time and intimate moments between characters, but I try to avoid any uncomfortably slow scenes. In my campaigns, everything important involves either a cost or a risk. Every roll and every decision has to lead to an exciting outcome, for good or bad. I don't always do voices, but when I do, I like to make it fun! I also don't force players to roleplay in ways they find uncomfortable. If someone prefers to describe their character's actions in the third person, I'm all for it.
