About D. Robert (EMTMAN)
I’m a husband, father, and lifelong gamer who has been navigating dungeons since the days of AD&D 2e. For the last 10 years, I’ve been a dedicated "Forever DM," running 5e regularly since before the pandemic. I especially love welcoming new players to the table. My mission is to make your entry into the hobby as smooth as possible by utilizing D&D Beyond to handle the heavy lifting of character creation and mechanics, leaving us more time for the story.

My favorite shows/movies are
Star Wars, the Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones, and the list goes on! I love fantasy, action, adventure, and sci-fi.
When I'm not running games I'm...
raising three amazing kids, spending time running a 501(c)3 charity that I founded with my brother, and trying to have as many adventures as possible!
How D. Robert (EMTMAN) runs games
I run several official modules, expertly tailored to your group's unique choices. My games balance the three pillars of D&D—combat, exploration, and social interaction. While I promise a fun and cinematic ride using the Rule of Cool, I also ensure a safe environment. I utilize Lines and Veils and maintain a PG-13, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome to learn and play.

D. Robert (EMTMAN)'s ideal table
My ideal table would be a group of friends who can collaborate on telling a story. Will there be conflict and disagreements? Of course. However, the ability to band together in the face of insurmountable odds and overcome any challenge is what makes TTRPGs the best form of play.

I am for a vibe that's...
Rules are more what you'd call guidelines... I love story-driven games and adventures where the rules support the story, not dictate your actions.
