About Jackie

My name is Jackie, I have been DMing for 2 years now. I have a laid-back style to DMing, meaning that, for the most part, I like to let my players run wild with few limits. I am best for players who don’t necessarily enjoy somber stories and want something fun and comedic. The campaigns I enjoy running are cozy, character-driven stories based in Obojima. The campaigns will be through Discord and Owlbear Rodeo. I enjoy running games for new players and will always make things easy to understand.

How Jackie runs games

Cozy DM who enjoys roleplaying and combat. Our stories will be character-driven roleplaying with exciting combat that can be resolved in many ways. As a DM, I use dnd 5e rules as a guideline for gameplay, but will overlook rules for better storytelling or for allowing my players to shine. My House Rules: -No sex -Wait for other players to finish speaking before jumping in -Know your character sheet ( I am happy to help with any confusion, but I expect my players to know what their class and level allow) My experience DMing has been mostly with brand-new players, and I will slow down to explain mechanics and other questions to players if needed. I am also willing to meet with players individually to help create characters and back stories ( meet once with players for free).
