About me

Coming from in theater and improvisation background, I pride myself on making stories for every player and worlds that interact with them. I like to think of my games as a world that your characters inhabit - the story is shaped on what you find and what you want to do! I am open to all kinds of players and games at my table, no matter skill or experience. I hope to play with you soon!

GM Style

I tend to be more of a role-play heavy DM where combat comes as a thematic consequence. I feel like many of the best moments come from when the party is able to interact with the world and become one with the world however they see fit. I really attempt to make every character stand out and be unique, be it through voice, mannarisms, or their efficacy in the world itself. Combat, while not my focus, is always a factor, however. Depending on the group's preference, I'm happy to run anything from theater of the mind combat (spacial awareness given in description without a map) to traditional battle map style. When I do run combat, I tend to put a lot of focus in the situation players find themselves in. They could be careening on a runaway ship in the middle of a ravine, fighting in a great hall as hordes of undead try to burst through the locked doors around them, or even a coronation gone wrong where the best strategy is to fight your way to freedom. In general, a lot of my adventures tend to start out more lighthearted and slowly make their way into a more serious tone. I'm a lot more of a rule of cool DM by nature as well, though I am happy to cater my play style to whatever best fits the party or the adventure.
