About the adventure

You wake on damp soil beneath a gray sky, the world silent but for the low hum of the obsidian obelisk nearby. No name. No past. Just a strange object in your hand… and the distant outline of a village cloaked in shadow." Welcome to Viremoor, a lost village where the sun never rises, the shadows whisper your name, and every step brings you closer to the truth—if you can handle it. This Westmarch-style campaign is perfect for players who crave mystery, exploration, and immersive storytelling. With amnesiac characters, a haunting central hub, and player-driven progression, every session offers meaningful choices, secrets to unravel, and dangers to survive.

About me

Hello. My name is Spence. One shots are cool but I prefer a campaign that lasts months or years and on... Cliffhangers and good storylines to keep up the intensity. I've been playing since I was a teen and running games for the past 6 years.

Spencer is a great dm, I’ve been playing in his campaigns for a while now and I get super excited every time. He’s great with new and experienced players. He keeps things fair and puts a lot of effort into ensuring we have a good time! If we are already into a campaign he is very good at introducing new players as they join and if it’s a new campaign his session 0 is very helpful!

I've been playing with Spencer as my Dm for a while now. I appreciate the freedoms he gives us. He is on point with keeping combat challenging, helps stimulate creative strategy on our part as the party. If I have an idea for a character or want to go a direction he'll work with me to make it happen.

Spencer "Speste" is a fantastic DM. He makes sure that everyone at the table has a voice and a chance to shine, this has been and continues to be the most fun I've had playing this game in a long time. He takes great care to make sure the scenes are set up, music is going, lighting is good and keeping up with initiative, 10/10 would recommend.

Highly Recomend this GM he is awesome. Speste is on a different level you can tell the passion and dedication he has for the games he runs. He works with you, taking ideas and creative input from you to help you intergrate into the world. You really feel a part of somthing special. His passion really excites the group and everyone is amped to play the next session. I feel very lucky to have found such an excellent GM and see playing many more campaigns with him. Just a good fit. He also helped me discover my newly minted fear of small spaces ;) I forsee many memorable moments adventuring with my GM. Thanks mate! Best and only GM I've had. Super understanding of my dumb ass things I want to do, and if actually possible, let's me do them. Super helpful in learning the rules and really nice for new players

Starts one level below the party but you can gain levels by roleplaying in the play-by-post channel's in addition to regularly held gaming sessions.

What to expect
Preparing for the session

please DM any questions What to Expect: Drop-in/drop-out flexibility – Join when you can; the story adapts to who's present. Play-by-post via Tuppers during the week to flesh out your character. Uncover your past – Your character begins with amnesia and uncovers abilities, traits, and memories through roleplay and in-world discoveries. Explore a living world – The world shifts and responds to your actions. New locations, NPCs, and events unlock as players investigate. Tense, atmospheric storytelling – Inspired by The Cosmere, The Witcher, and other Novels/Videogames. Character growth tied to narrative – Progression is earned not just through combat, but through solving mysteries, building relationships, and reclaiming what was lost.
