About Greg
My name is Greg! I'm 26, and I currently live in Houston, Texas. I have a background in film, and am currently working as a substitute teacher, working on my teaching certificate. I have a love of film, writing, literature, art, games, and socializing, so TTRPGs were a natural fit. I first started playing tabletop games in 2018, and I've been a GM since 2019. I've ran campaigns as long as 2 years, to one shots as short as 2 hours, and everything in between. I love getting to tell stories and helping to create awesome, bombastic moments with my players.

How Greg runs games
My gaming style can generally be described as cinematic, high stakes, and dramatic. I love roleplay with interesting, layered characters who make things happen, challenging, high stakes combat where death could be around any corner, stories with deep themes, where difficult decisions have to be made, that mirror the struggles of our real world, villains who push the characters to their limits, spectacle, suspense, and moments that feel like they belong in a blockbuster. If that interests you, I'm your guy.
Greg's ideal table
My tables tend to be cinematic, high stakes, thematic, and action packed high fantasy campaigns. I love epic and brutal fights, swelling orchestras, difficult choices, heroic sacrifice, emotional highs and lows, overarching narratives, death around every corner, all that good stuff. I lean towards more serious campaigns, not that I'm against a bit of levity, I just prefer it (and think it ends up being much funnier) when the comedy comes naturally rather than forcing a bit or joke characters. I add some occasional house rules, depending on the game, but I usually stick close to the official rules. I enjoy a bit of rule of cool, as long as it's not like, looney tunes absurdity, or "I boil the water in his lungs" stuff. If any of this stuff sounds up your alley, I think we'll have a great time together :)

I love it when a player
My favorite players are enthusiastic, invested, go-getters. They have a cool character, with a distinct personality, and goals, who know when to grab the spotlight, and when not to, they take big swings and high risks, can accept the consequences for either, and put in the effort to make things fun.
