About Tyler Rossi

I have 10+ years of GM-ing experience under a variety of different systems. My style is often player lead and focused on interweaving party personal narrative to give each player a real stake in the story. I come to tabletop gaming as a theatre practitioner, playwright, and actor. Nothing says theatre like collaborative storytelling, and I bring that with me into every game I run or play in.

I became a GM because

I'm a playwright and a lover of interactive theatre. Collaborative storytelling is my bread and butter. Being able to share storytelling around a table (be it physical or virtual) harkens back to the dawn of time - but now we get to throw math rocks and kill gods. đź’€

How Tyler Rossi runs games

My strongest aspect of style is in roleplay, as my background as an actor especially lends itself well to character voice and player immersion through NPC interaction. That said, I like to tailor my GM-ing based on what the group asks for in session zero. So that way, whether the group wants something full of political intrigue, high stakes combat, tactics led decisions abound, an infinite dungeon crawl, or a survivalist's wildest dream, I can provide that.

When it comes to voices

I could fill a very deep well. Accents, impressions, you name it - I've got something to bring deeper immersion when interacting with NPCs.

My perfect party mix is

Players playing what they want. I DM to give a challenge to the party I have, not for "standard patry comp."
