About Christopher Basileus Pung
Hi! I’m Christopher. I've been playing TTRPG's and videogames for years, before I even knew there was a community for it. It really started when I was playing pretend with my sisters and friends, and I loved creating a space for creativity, storytelling, and lots of laughter. My goal as a GM is to make sure every player feels like they are part of an awesome world and their actions have impact on it. I’ve run everything from classic D&D campaigns to crunchy pathfinder rules-lawyering courtrooms, to homebrew rule of cool fantastical storytelling, tailoring the tone and style to fit each group. My approach balances roleplay, exploration, and combat while keeping the story moving and the world immersive. I’m flexible with the rules, and my philosophy is that they exist as a framework to facilitate fun, not restrict it. I’ll always go for the rule of cool if it enhances the moment, as long as it doesn’t take away from anyone else’s enjoyment. Whether you’re brand new to TTRPGs or a seasoned player, I’d meet you where you’re comfortable. You can expect engaging encounters, meaningful choices, and plenty of room for your characters to shine. At the end of the day, I want our sessions to be memorable stories you’ll still be talking about long after the dice are put away.

How Christopher Basileus Pung runs games
In my games, you can expect a balance of story-driven roleplay, impactful choices, and encounters that go beyond just rolling dice. I love weaving player backstories into the world so your character feels like they matter to the story. Roleplay is always encouraged, whether it’s deep character moments or lighthearted banter that brings the table to life. A lot of skill min/maxing is great, but I'm of the opinion that RP is the most OP skill. Combat at my table is tactical but never bogged down. I aim to keep battles exciting, cinematic, and connected to the narrative. Sometimes, the best fight is the one not fought, in favor of stealing away the orb of power from its position on the altar. Exploration and puzzles often make their way into my sessions too, giving variety and chances for every type of player to shine. I want to provide moments for all my players to shine, either providing targeted challenges for specific people or presenting a problem that doesn't fit neatly for anyone and needs some thinking. Either way, I want everyone to come out with a "that was awesome" moment. I like to think I have a little something for everyone and will capture the interest of players whether they love to roleplay, live for combat, or want to explore unknown worlds.
