I am a " story first" GM . I have been playing this way for 40 years give or take. I thread the needle between exciting combat and compelling narrative. I love " character acting" and often pull out all the stops when it comes to my portraying of NPC's but don't expect my players to follow. I love telling stories and helping new players get into the hobby.
