About Glenna Dupree
With over five years of experience as both player and GM, I run narrative-rich, roleplay-heavy campaigns where character choices shape the world. My games focus on personal storytelling—each player gets a dedicated arc, exploring their backstory, inner demons (be they cursed, pact-bound, or emotional), and the choices that define them. The party walks these stories together, growing not just as adventurers, but as a found family. Backstory building doesn’t need to be intimidating. Whether you bring a full backstory or just a spark of an idea, I’ll help you bring your character to life at your own pace. Most campaigns take place in Exandria (the world of Critical Role), with room for balanced, flavorful homebrew. If you love story-driven games where roleplay matters and every player has a voice, this is your table.

I got started GMing...
I began GMing because the stories swirling in my mind demanded to be told. After years of playing, my creativity first sparked through crafting detailed backstories for characters. From there, it blossomed into weaving magical, mythical tales—vivid stories that I’m compelled to bring to life.
How Glenna Dupree runs games
My games typically take place in the Critical Role setting of Exandria - and I am open to homebrew where balanced and fun! I love incorporating puzzles, riddles and mysteries as well as challenging combat and RP. I am a very narrative driven, story based, RP Heavy DM. I create stories that allow players to delve into their backstories, confront their personal demons (be it the metaphorical or pact bound kind), and make choices that will define the character forever! In my games, every PC gets an Arc dedicated to their story, and as a team, the party walks though that story together. If you find backstory creation daunting, have no fear. I work with players to go as in depth as they choose, and make sure everyone has their chance to feel the spotlight. I'm also very beginner friendly! I love to teach and share the love of the story, so I welcome beginners who need guidance, but still want to have lots of fun! My games don't have much free roam. I always give players a direction, and guarantee that every player will get a turn to peruse their goal (beginners usually find this very helpful)!
Glenna Dupree's ideal table
At my table, the heart of the game is connection—between characters, players, and the story we're telling together. I strive to create a welcoming space where strangers become friends through shared laughter, hard-fought victories, emotional moments, and a sense of real collaboration. I'm looking for players who are serious about D&D and also serious about enjoying themselves. You don’t need to be a rules expert or a theater kid—just come ready to participate with curiosity, creativity, and respect. Funny characters? Absolutely. Jokes in the right moments? Totally welcome. But if your fun consistently comes at the expense of others’ enjoyment or the tone of a scene, this probably isn't the right table for you. I value cooperative play, where everyone gets a spotlight and works together to elevate the experience. My ideal game is one that runs long-term, where character arcs grow, bonds deepen, and we all look forward to the next session. Whether it's high drama, tactical encounters, or quiet campfire roleplay—there’s room for it here, as long as it serves the group and the story.
