How DM Dan runs games

I run a healthy balance of roleplay and combat, without leaning too far in either direction. While I don't worry about tiny details like encumbrance or RPing out every individual purchase in town, I do keep things fairly close to rules-as-written.

guidelines, but I'm not a fan of breaking or bending them on the regular. I will make exceptions for if something particularly makes sense in the moment, but I don't subscribe to having large lists of homebrew rules/changes to the game.

When it comes to voices

I try to give everyone a unique sound. I usually play things fairly serious/straightforward, but can't resist the urge for a comedic effect goblin or two from time to time.
