My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
... it would be tough to choose! But I'd select 1) 5e - Well, you kinda have to bring it, right? 2) Call of Cthulhu 7e - It's just about perfect for investigative horror. 3) Land of Eem - Because right now it's my favorite hexcrawler & the lighthearted theme would cheer me up on the deserted isle.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
1. Creative - I've spent my real-life career in writing & advertising. I love to create worlds & immerse players into it. 2. Energetic - My favorite people to be around are kind & enthusiastic. I try to emulate them. 3. Optimistic - We come to RPGs for a quick escape. It should be a positive one.
How Adam runs games
Story first, combat second. I think the best games are the ones where all are involved in an inclusive story and moving the game (and story) forward. That's what makes this hobby so awesome!
