About Layla

My name is Layla, I’m an enthusiastic and passionate writer who loves running TTRPGs. I’ve been playing tabletop games for about 9 years and GM-ing for 5 years. My first game was Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition and I feel in love with the collaborative storytelling and group dynamics. Having a good table brings joy to my life and making friends laugh, cry, and enjoy our sessions is one of my favorite things about the hobby. My goal for every session is to leave satisfied and excited for more.

How Layla runs games

In my games, except a mix of roleplay, fun combat encounters, and social intrigue. I always ensure for session zero to establish a mutual understanding of which pillars of play the group is most comfortable and engaged with, and is flexible to adjust when needed. I have a player forward approach and strongly believe in the “Rule of Cool”.
