About Elilith

Hello everyone! I’ve been playing and DMing for over 10 years now. I started with Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay (2nd edition) and since then I’ve explored a wide range of TTRPGs — from shared narration and rules-light storytelling games (sometimes even diceless!) to crunchy, system-heavy adventures. My main systems today are Pathfinder 2e, The One Ring, and several narrative-focused systems I use for one-shots and initiations. I love running prewritten adventures, as I enjoy making them my own and tailoring every scene to my players. I also create homebrew campaigns when the table craves something unique. My goal as a GM is simple: to provide a fun, inclusive, and safe experience, exploring diverse themes and worlds while making sure every player feels involved and inspired. I should mention that I’m a French native speaker. I’ve mostly run games in French so far, but I’ve also played many sessions in English and I’m excited to bring my stories to an international audience. Whether you’re new to TTRPGs or an experienced adventurer, I’ll make sure you find something to love at my table.

My favorite books are

It's really hard to pick my favorite books since I’ve read so many amazing ones! Over the past three years, I’d say: "The Priory of the Orange Tree", "The Handmaid’s Tale", "A Winter’s Promise", "Nettle & Bone", "A Psalm for the Wild-Built", and "Children of Fallen Gods". It wasn’t easy to choose!

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

I think my players would describe me as Enthusiastic, Accommodating, and Passionate. Even in my home games, I give it my all — spending hours preparing props, helping players with their characters, and bringing the story to life with funny voices and epic scenes.

When I'm not running games I'm...

When I'm not running games, I'm reading books (including TTRPG materials and novels), playing video games, or watching shows and YouTube videos. I use all these sources to make my games even better!

How Elilith runs games

I love roleplay at the table, but I also allow jokes and tactical discussions outside of it. I’m fine with character optimization as long as it doesn’t detract from other players’ fun — I rarely run brutal or unforgiving combat. I enjoy creating some tension and challenging encounters that make players think, but I won’t let a character die purely because of bad luck. Similarly, I’m a big fan of the “no, but…” approach when handling failed rolls. I like to give NPCs distinctive voices and often adopt interesting or funny player suggestions into canon. As for storytelling, I favor semi-linear adventures: there’s a main thread and key events along the way, but how you approach and resolve them is entirely up to you. I find this balance allows me to craft engaging stories without making players feel railroaded.

I once ran a session...

I once ran a session with only 15 minutes to prepare! We used a simple homebrew system (one quality and one flaw), built characters and the story with cards, and went for it. My players soon discovered that what they thought was an artifact was something much darker...

My favorite trope is...

I love a little dark twist (always with real care for my players’ comfort regarding themes). I also enjoy flipping tropes around—like a dark mage who uses necromancy to revive his flower garden.

When it comes to voices

I try to give NPCs distinctive voices. Major ones get subtle tones so they don’t become tiring, but I sometimes go wild with funny ones—some players even fell for an NPC just thanks to a caring grandma voice! As for you, do as you please!

Elilith's ideal table

The most important thing at my table is that everyone respects each other and genuinely wants to be here. With that in mind, almost any group can work. I love both tactical-focused and roleplay-focused tables, and I can adapt to either. We laugh a lot—I can’t stay serious for four hours straight! But we also love cinematic, epic moments that make the story feel alive, without disrupting the flow. Everyone is encouraged to bring their ideas and have fun, and I make sure every player feels involved and inspired.

I love it when a player

I love it when a player really invests in the game! Whether they give me a backstory to work from, roleplay often, join out-of-game discussions, take notes, or even make fanart—I feel like the luckiest GM on earth!

I think min/maxing...

I think min/maxing is okay as long as it doesn’t detract from other players’ fun. If a min-maxed character dominates combat and others feel left out, I’ll chat with the player to nerf them just enough so everyone can have fun again.

My table is not the place for...

Unless stated otherwise, my table is not for PvP. It’s also not the place for racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic characters—unless it’s very clear that these traits are part of a story about growth and that the character is meant to evolve from them.
