About Aubrey
Hi! My name is Bree, and I've been running games for nearly a decade. I was a White Wolf Moderator back in the early 00's for their chats, and have been deeply involved in TTRPGs since my early childhood. I've taken part in charity events, such as the 'Week of Oneshots', and have used the platform to help fundraise for a variety of organizations, like the Trevor Project and local animal rescues. I've done official art for several TTRPGs as an illustrator, including LANCER and DnD5e. I am currently running and writing content for LANCER, which is certainly one of the games I'm most passionate about. I'm Transmasc/ENBY, and run exclusively Neurodivergent, all-inclusive tables with a ZERO tolerance policy for bigotry and hateful behavior. Gaming is for everyone.

When I'm not running games I'm...
Knee-deep in art. I can't imagine an existence without it. I'm always drawing my own characters, settings, and scenes from the headworlds I've been working on of years.
How Aubrey runs games
I am a Narrative First GM. This means that mechanics are less important than your willingness to get into the roleplay and dive into the setting. Are you looking for an immersive, character-driven story that highlights the struggles of the "human" condition, the harsh realities of war, capitalism, and horrors beyond the stars? Are you hungry for plots that leave your gut-tangled, or teary-eyed at the end of the night? There's always room for levity, of course-- but I strive to balance triumphs and trials in equal measure as you proceed through my games. The highs send you soaring, but the lows are bleak and gutwrenching. You define what shapes your narrative experience. I try to provide a "Living World" to my players, where characters and factions you meet feel like real people with motivations that carry beyond the player narrative. Events, machinations, and time moves on even if the group does interact with them.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Guillermo Del Toro.
My favorite trope is...
Chasing hope in the darkest of places. Of healing, breaking generational cycles of violence and harm. Of triumph against oneself as much as an enemy.
Aubrey's ideal table
The players that thrive at my tables are those looking for an immersive, roleplay-heavy experience. I am not a "Beer and Pretzels" storyteller; even my most light-hearted romps feature moments of intense emotions, both positive and negative.

I love it when a player
I love it when my players get into their characters, and approach situations in the game with same kind emotional response as they would real people and events. There is nothing more rewarding at the end of a grueling, heart-stabbing session, than watching the characters lift one another up.
