About Alex McCauley

Hello! I’m Alex (aka The Chaotic Goblin), a London-based professional actor, Game Master, and storyteller. I’ve been playing tabletop RPGs for 10 years and have been working professionally in the TTRPG space for more than two. I work as a GM for private hire as well RPG venues in London, also appearing at Comic-Cons and Game Expos. I thrive at tables where creativity runs wild and players feel safe to take risks, follow their instincts, and aren’t afraid to go off the rails. Thanks to my background in acting, I love crafting immersive stories; whether that’s a punchy, memorable one-shot or a rich, long-running campaign full of twists and character development. My games put character goals, relationships, and roleplay at the heart of the story. But fair warning, I’ll also throw in a mean, tactical combat that might make you rethink your choices! I always ensure my games are a safe space for all (especially my queers, gals, and non-binary pals). I use the X and O card system in my games to ensure my table can be a safe space with constant open communication.
