About me

Welcome adventurers! I would be overjoyed to be your guide, lore weaver, and the humble arbiter of your fate as you embark upon your perilous journey. If one wished to call upon me as a guide for your stories to come, the name Outis (Oo-tis) is what I answer to. I was once a would-be adventurer such as yourself, but through my many years of playing tabletop roleplaying games, the likes of which include: Dungeons and Dragons (1st, 2nd, and 5th edition), Call of Cthulhu, Monster of the Week, Vampire the Masquerade, and more, I have accumulated a wide breadth of knowledge and experience. At my table, there is a huge emphasis on roleplaying and storytelling. For me, these aspects have allowed me to explore topics such as my gender identity in a safe place and learn new things about myself through the lens of my character. I have a degree in history and my specific areas of study have an emphasis constructions of identity, especially gender and space. So, while I love a story that is large-scale and Machiavellian in nature, I also love stories that focus on individuals. especially the folks that traditional stories and histories push to the margins. This is all to say that if you want an adventuring experience that focuses on LGBT+ experiences, identity, roleplaying, and storytelling all in a safe respectful environment, well, look no further. Grab your swords, shields, quill, and tomes. New worlds and stories with friends, magic, and mayhem await.

GM Style

I'm a GM who focuses heavily on roleplay. I find my strengths are in making unique NPCs with distinct personalities and motives, then really embodying those aspects with mannerisms and voices to match However, this does not mean I expect my players to be professional actors, to have accents, or never break character. Roleplaying should be fun! All I ask is that you engage in this collective story-telling experience with the group. I do also have a distinct love of mysteries and plots that put the characters at the center. Stories that prompt the characters to make hard choices. I encourage players to consider aspects of their character's morality and perspective based upon their experiences. I also adore puzzles and creative solutions!
