About me

Hi there! My name is Callum. I'm new to becoming a "professional DM", but I look forward to the first group that I work with! My biggest thing when playing TTRPG's is fun. I could sit here and type for hours about the amount of games I've played where I've felt my character hasn't had a "moment" or where I've thought of something creative and fun only to be denied because it's "not an official mechanic". My biggest goal as a DM is to give that to players. I'm someone who wants to see the players win, who relishes in the fun and sometimes silly mistakes a player can make. Because to me, it's the best thing about TTRPG's. The chaos and creativity that other people bring to a table are what I live for In terms of the style and how I like to run my games, I'd like to think of myself as a player's DM more than an adversary to the party. My goal is to make sure that everyone at the table is having fun and feeling like a fantasy badass. I prefer to keep things in the style of fun and enjoyable rather than a rules lawyer. If it makes sense and it's fun for everyone then to heck with the rules lets have a good time! However, that doesn't mean I'm opposed to other ways of playing! If you and your friends want a serious roleplaying experience, I'm all in. A bit about me, I' am a Educational worker in the school system as well as I'm in school as of the moment for firefighting. I started playing DND about 3 years ago and was very quick to become invested in the game fully. For me, the game is having a creative outlet and a way to fun with your friends.

GM Style

I enjoy a GM style of creating an immersive and fun world with good roleplay, plenty of voices, and fun combat. I enjoy using ambient music and combat music to help set the mood and help with creating immersion I like to place players in worlds where they become the story. Their interactions and decisions in the world have weight behind them.
