About Connor
I am a professional writer and game developer. I love running TTRPG's as an excuse to indulge in some collaborative, unlimited story-telling. I have a practiced passion for this hobby of ours, and the time and capability to make your campaign something you'll brag about to all your nerd friends. I'll work with you to get the most out of your character's journey and give them a tangible place in the worlds we create. Likewise I have spent years refining my FoundryVTT server, kitting it out with all the fanciest quality of life improvements I can so that you can be sure you're getting the best possible VTT experience. I've got an endless haversack worth of custom maps, music, atmospherics and commitment to make this an experience worth partaking in.

I became a GM because
It's a pervect outlet for my two favourite things, collaboration and not having to argue with producers about budgets.
My favorite books are
Age of Madness trilogy - Abercrombie The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet - Becky Chambers Slaughterhouse Five - Kurt Vonnegut
When I'm not running games I'm...
a narrative designer on an ongoing video game project. Prior to moving into games I was a commercial video producer and script editor.
How Connor runs games
Presentation wise, I go all in. Character voices, sound effects, the works. I'm a little theatre geek at heart and this job lets me do that for a living. Mechanically, I know the rules inside and out, I know when to enforce them and when to let them slide in the name of cool. I always endeavour to present my players with fair challenges and multiple paths to progress. Crucially, I like to give the players as much agency in their own stories as possible. I carefully vet each of my players to ensure a safe and fun environment for everyone. I don't allow homophobia, sexism, transphobia, racism or allusions to sexual violence at my tables.

My games focus on...
You, and making sure you get a chance to be a part of a story you'll remember.
Rules are...
there to ensure the game stays fun. But if they don't serve that purpose, they can be easily adapted or ignored.
When it comes to voices
I go all the way.
