About the adventure
Desperation. Your life has not gone the way you intended. Whether it is a family illness, lack of fame or fortune, or something else entirely it seems that you need a miracle to get your life back on track. That is when you received it. A small package. Inside were the instructions to go to a location outside of the City of Wonders, Waterdeep. They read, "Deep in the High Forest lies a magical well. When you approach you will be let in. Complete the trials and you will earn any one wish you desire. Fail and you will perish." The package came with a map and enough gold to equip yourself for the adventure to come. A smarter person may have took the gold and run, but you need a big win. Something to right the cosmic scales. You need that wish. This adventure will take you through levels 1-20 in a condensed adventure between 3-5 sessions. Perfect for experimenting with a potential build or trying out high level play for the first time. Players of all ages and experience levels are welcome.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hey everyone! I have been GMing for about 15 years now. I have run D&D (4e and 5e), Savage Worlds, Kids on Brooms, and Star Wars FFG. I have over 10 years of in depth experience with VTTs. My focus is to have a fun, exciting, and welcoming experience for everyone at the table. I emphasize player agency with their characters and the story as well as creating an inclusive, tolerant table that encourages each other. I am currently enrolled in school as a Finance/Accounting major so we will have any math covered. Seriously though, my experiences and life have taken me all over the world and that allows me to distil unique perspectives into an exciting and engaging game. I have run games for newbies and veterans of all ages. Hope to hear from you soon.

Creating your character
Character creation will take place over zero session and will include creating multiple levels for your characters to aid in a quick leveling system so that we can bring you from level 1 to 20 in 3-5 sessions.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players only need a microphone and computer. They will have to make a free account on D&DBeyond as well. Everything else should be provided.
What Daniel Stevenson brings to the table
I will bring custom maps through the Foundry VTT system. I will also provide all character options through D&DBeyond. This game will feature intense combat where players will need to think tactically. I am a rule of cool DM that encourages creative problem solving and rewards out of the box thinking.

Safety
How Daniel Stevenson creates a safe table
Game starts with a zero session. During the zero session, we will discuss the safety tools in more detail. In addition, we will go over game expectations and character creation. I will provide the players with the links to build their characters for free on D&D Beyond. The game will be weekly and will take place on Foundry VTT and Zoom. There will be no charge to the players for any of these services. No experience with any of these platforms is necessary. During the game the players will have access to an X card as a safety measure as well as additional safety measures that will be explained at zero session. Outside of game time, players can strategize and hang out on the discord server created for their specific game. This also acts as a primary location to ask me any questions or go over anything that you want to go over.
