About the adventure
This is a Ruins of Symbaroum game, which is a 5e conversion of the original d20-based system of Symbaroum. New classes replace the typical ones offered by standard 5e, plus unique mechanics such as corruption and extended rests are also introduced. Wrath of the Warden, describes events which will have long term effects on the town of Thistle Hold. This is a fairly straight forward adventure, primarily dealing with the hunt for the identity of a quest giver and the subsequent showdown with a group of local cultists in Thistle Hold. The setting is unique and limited to a particular area where you will get to explore the vast Forest of Davokar in the hunt for treasure, insights and fame. Davokar covers the remnants of the fallen empire of Symbaroum, but while the forest is filled with natural resources and treasures, it is fraught with danger, monsters and infectious corruption. The forest is also protected by the elves of the Iron Pact, who have vowed to die in order to keep anyone from disturbing the ruins of the old empire. The ancient kingdom of Symbaroum has long since fallen, leaving behind ruins for the current inhabitants to explore, if they dare. As a player, you can choose between two groups of people in the area. Choose to be one of the Ambrians, a human kingdom, displaced by war who have fled back to their ancestral lands or a member of the various Barbarian tribes, descendants of the original Symbaroum empire.
Additional Details
How to prepare
A good internet connection will be required. We will be using Discord for voice chat, so a decent mic will be necessary as well. A webcam is not required, but encouraged if one is comfortable. We will be using Foundry VTT for gameplay and housing the character sheet.

We will have a session 0 to go over general game play expectations, along with discussion of lines and veils. These do not have to be shared with everyone, just me.

How will character creation work
We will discuss character creation in Discord where all of the details of the setting will be shared. There will be a session 0 to finalize details before the first session of gameplay.
