About the adventure

The classic Call of Cthulhu introductory adventure, formerly known as "Mr. Corbitt's House" in previous editions, updated and reincorporated into the Call of Cthulhu 40th Anniversary Keeper's Rulebook. Experience the scenario that has been introducing people to Call of Cthulhu for 40 years. Even if you are not new to the game and never have played this, it's a great experience that showcases the themes and situations that make Call of Cthulhu the great game it is. Every CoC player should play this classic! The year is 1920 and the location is Boston, Massachusetts. You have been hired by Mr. Knott, a landlord, who wishes you to examine a house in central Boston he owns. The last tenants were involved in some kind of tragedy a few years back and he wishes to understand the mysterious happenings at the house and set the matter straight. How to prepare

Computer and Internet required. High speed internet will make for a more enjoyable experience. Mic and headphones required (speakers cause echo). Set up free accounts on Roll20 and Discord. Recommend Chrome or Firefox browser. Install Discord app on computer. Join Leovor's Keep server (link on your dashboard here after you join the game).

What I provide

I will bring my 20+ years of experience running Call of Cthulhu games for different kinds of people, old or young, new or experienced; friends, strangers and strangers who then became friends by playing together. The dice are rolled on Roll20 VTT, characters sheets, portraits, handouts with clues found during play and some illustration. Background music played through the Roll20 web VTT.

I usually do a session zero, but since this is a short one shot adventure, all trigger warnings are in the descriptions, and i'm doing a "mini" session zero at the start to go over the game and it's content before we start.

How will character creation work

Pregenerated Characters and can be selected at the start of the game. They will be investigators with no previous experience with the Cthulhu Mythos.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
