About the adventure
By combining the Age of Rebellion adventures Takeover at Whisper Base and Operation: Shadowpoint, players are given an entire campaign with plenty of opportunities for combat, social encounters, and more! While this is a beginner friendly game, experienced players will also find this struggle between the Alliance and Empire challenging while also relying on teamwork and creative problem solving to get out in one piece. In this campaign, you and your team of fresh recruits find yourselves deployed by the Alliance deep in the jungles of the planet Onderon, ordered to infiltrate and neutralize a secret Imperial listening post in order to secure a base for future Alliance operations in the system.

Gameplay details
The FFG Star Wars RPG game uses a narrative dice system to resolve checks. The dice pool will consist of positive dice and negative dice, the positive dice determined by your characteristics, skills, and other boosts, while the negative dice are determined by difficulty, challenge level, and other setbacks. All of these are determined by your (or the NPC's) character sheets and the GM. Additionally, the game uses an API to make rolling and gameplay effortless. As a player, you don't need to know anything before joining. Just come with an open mind and be ready for a great Star Wars adventure!

How will character creation work
Characters may be created from any of the published FFG Core Rulebooks (EotE, AoR, or F&D) or other era or career sourcebooks. They can be created in any form you like (RPG Sessions, SWSheets, paper, etc.). However, I will import them into the game manually and they will be tracked there for the remainder of the game. You will start with a Duty value of 15 and can spend that as you'd like. Credits begin at 500 (or you may spend Duty to gain more) and XP is determined by species/race (or you may spend Duty to gain more). No restricted items at character creation. All other restrictions on spending XP apply. For beginners, I suggest using the pre-generated character folios that come with the game. They already exist within the Roll20 server and players will be able to view and choose which character they want prior to the first session.
Players can expect
- Combat/Tactics: High
- Roleplay: Medium
- Puzzles: Low
- Experience Level: Open to all
