About Wren
Wren (they/them) is an agender variety streamer, TTRPG performer, podcaster, audio engineer, game writer, and professional game master. A lover of myriad things, they enjoy cooking, nature, dogs, Pokémon, writing, and all manner of cute stuff! As a player and the audio mixer for the longest-running, first ever, award nominated Genesys AP podcast, "Roads Uncharted", Wren has an ear for composition, performance and clarity when it comes to gaming and descriptions! As a GM, Wren focuses on narratives and role play, giving each player the chance to interact with the world around them and the other players. Wren strives for inclusion and comfort at the table. Various safety tools for the table are a staple in their gaming and they strive to keep a dialogue going to keep things open and light goes a long way, as well. If they had to describe a piece of media that was similar to their storytelling style, it would be "Avatar: the Last Airbender". For an example of what Wren's gaming tables look like, check out the TTRPG playlists on their YouTube channel.

I got started GMing...
After my first session of D&D 3.5 over twenty years ago. I've been cooking up NPCs, pulling together tables of players, and letting my creativity flow ever service then! Put my experience and love of shared storytelling to work for you!
My favorite shows/movies are
ones that make you feel, whether it be through humor, levity, seriousness, or lighthearted antics. The shows that stick with us make us think and bring our emotions to the forefront.
How Wren runs games
Wren has been playing various TTRPG's for far too many years. They've played everything from AD&D to Pathfinder and everything in between. Lately, Wren has gotten into playing and GMing with the online TTRPG community and has been enjoying a rekindling of their passion for the hobby. A purveyor of light-hearted fun, you can expect to laugh and experience the ridiculous or cute when you play with Wren. Excelling at theatre-of-the-mind style GMing, with a heavy emphasis on "yes, and" gameplay, there are no bad ideas! Wren tends to have improv heavy sessions, as well. Voices are a forte of theirs, so you can expect different, recognizable NPCs. Wren typically wants to avoid crunch, so you can expect to throw out rules for ammo counting, food rationing, etc. We're in the game to have fun and make memories. Getting bogged down in minutiae is a sure-fire way to break immersion.

When it comes to voices
I can bust out a variety of them. In fact, I have more voice options available than I give myself credit.
