How to prepare

Players are not necessarily expected to have a lot of experience with D&D 5e beforehand, I will be happy to go over things with you session 0 and onward! Mics are preferred but text chat on Discord works just as well, webcams are up to the individual. You may create your character sheet in any way you like, paper, D&D Beyond, etc. Inputting stats into Roll20 is optional; that only represents your character on the map. You do not need your own dice as my Discord server has a dice bot (but I encourage dice simply for the fun!)

What I provide

All players gain access to my Discord server, where the game will be played over voice chat. It is an easy place to keep track of notes, maps, loot, and status conditions from game to game!

Gameplay details

I use the RPG consent checklist: for this particular game, bugs, rats, spiders, freezing, heatstroke, hunger, natural disasters, severe/extreme weather, thirst, and any other hazards you can think of involving being outside are central to its premise and are non-negotiable. *I NEVER allude to nor condone sexual assault in any of my games.* Snacks during gameplay are encouraged (as long as your mic is off while chewing) We will take a 10-15 minute break around halfway through for stretching, bathroom, etc. unless we're having too much fun! Debriefing after the session involved feedback: did you have fun? Is there anything you want to see more/less of going forward? Etc.

How will character creation work

This is a low-level, beginner-friendly campaign! We will start at level 3. Session zero will be creating characters, establishing character motivations, forming inter-party relationships, and stuff of that nature! I will also be adding players to the Roll20 game (if you do not have a Roll20 account, that will be created during this time)
