Additional Details

How to prepare

Computer and Internet required. High speed internet will make for a more enjoyable experience. Mic and headphones required (speakers cause echo). Set up free account on Discord. Recommend Chrome or Firefox browser. Install the Discord app on computer and join our Gold & Glory server (link on your dashboard here after you join the game). Send token image to GM Manny (or request a custom token from GM Manny). If you require a familiar or Wild Shape forms or Summon creatures, please alert GM Manny well before the game.

What I provide

GM Manny uses official ShadowDark campaign materials supplemented with additional maps, music and sound effects, 3D dice rolling, Dynamic Lighting (revealing maps as you explore), customized tokens, sourcebook/compendium sharing in Foundry VTT or Owlbear Rodeo. We use Discord for audio and each group gets its own channels to talk between games.

How will character creation work

Characters will be made during session 0 on our Discord server; it is preferred to have an idea before then. The session 0 will help create ties between characters and make sure the team dynamic works smoothly! Character creation is very quick and can happen on the fly in game as well.

Players can expect

• Find a game to join solo or search for a professional game master for you and your friends/coworkers/family.
• Book your session and wait for the Game Master to approve you.
• If you don't have a blast with your first game, your next game is on us.
